For Star Wars: I was 8 (I am 15 now) at the time and I remember being out side playing with my younger brother and suddenly I thought up the word Storm Trooper. As we were playing Storm Trooper, my dad came outside and asked what we were playing. I replied Storm Troopers. He said 'Like from Star Wars?'. I replied "What is Star Wars?. He was amazed I didn't know and then said, "Well I guess you wouldn't, I never introduced it to you." A Couple of days later he walked in with Star Wars on VHS (Unaltered). We watched it and I remember my mom (who doesn't like Sci-fi very much) complaining during the film that it was boring. It ended and I was like 'Is that all?'. My dad just smiled.

For Empire Strikes Back (3 months later): Me and my brother were again playing outside. My dad pulled in the driveway and we ran up to greet him. He said that he had a suprise for us and showed us a VHS copy of Empire. We were really excited. He told me that he had been all around the local town looking for a copy and finally found one at this run down old rental store. I loved the whole thing. With this I was a total fan.

For Return of the Jedi (1 Year): Not much to this one but my grandma found the copy of Return at a used sale. I loved it.

Now- Today I walked by the old tree my brother and me used to play by. That is what brought this on. One other point is the fact that today I only own the Trilogy on 97 VHS. So I looked online and you won't believe the prices for the trilogy. O My.

According to my father I was taken to see Episode I when I was 1 Year Old for reasons unknown to me.

I was 12.  First I saw original trilogy (remastered) on DVD. I wasnt same kid after that

bugger, it was definitely episode IV but i was quite young and can't remember how old i was, though i seem to recall i was watching a marathon on CBS during thanksgiving day xD

Did I ever mention how old you guys make me feel? I was 20m when the first movie came out. I saw it in Jacksonville, Fla. the first day it came out (then 6 more times over the next 6 weeks!). I saw ESB in Hawaii the first day it came out there, then ROJ in London, Eng. when it first came out there.

I think I first watched the star wars movies in uptown new york with my dad while on vacation. I think I was something like 8 at the time. I am now 16. At first, the movie was kind of like, "Okay, that was cool." I somehow ended up reading the novels about a year later and I never stopped

in 1998 when we had the great ice storm, up in canada. one of the ugliest winter weather ive ever seen. i was about 7 years old. you should see pictures during that great storm. i look back and say "hey its almost the same thing for snow quantities, just not the ice."

We owned the vhs originals in 1987 when I was born. I am sure I watched them with my dad well before I can remember.

I watched Episode I on the big screen back in 1999, when I was about 3½ years old.
I absolutely loved the thing, and my parents had the original 3 movies on VHS (only Episode V was the '97 Special Edition), which I then saw and loved too!

Since then, I got hold of Episode I on VHS, which I (along with the other 3) watched far too much...

I've been a Star Wars fan ever since.
