Long time no post, and this is my first News Post as well so here goes. Got some lovely Alpha shots from the first Era this month, been playing it a little in Galactic Conquest mode (i know, lucky me :p) well, here goes - got our first shot which is of the GC itself, mostly Republic territory.

Next up is a picture of a fleet i took to a planet for a lovely picnic with some killing and destruction of the sith for afters

And finally, we have a closer shot of the Sith Interdictor in combat:

All good stuff as you can see. More next month and maybe hopefully more new content completly as we near release

With what for lasers does the Interdictor shoot? YOu can´t see it very good in the picture and in "real" he fired the Republican and the sith Laser.

Turbolasers. The red light is the sith colour, the green light is the republic/old republic colour.

Correct. As usual, we won't say any time estimations - this works never well, we have seen it when chris said, that it will be released in late october...

You know beta-stage? It's a stage where testers tests the game and fixes bugs. Alpha is the stage before beta, it represents an unfinished, but working copy.

So how far are you guys into the alpha testing?  I'm ready to test Beta at any time if you wish.

we have a few things left to implement, then the game will be fundamentally complete - ergo ready to test for ickle bugs

You have to wait some more time, still. We were in alpha, since the first unit was coded...we have to test always via our copy if our changes were successful.

so beta testing is imminent ay? well i guess this stuff before was nonsense then.

well, yeah, i'd be happy to Beta-test, IF i'm allowed.. or there's still space left. fans come first. XD

it wasn't nonsense, we hired testers and they tested.

Yup. Beta-3 is nonsense. This can be done all in Beta-2 too. Beta-2...well, towards our new plans, Beta-2 isn't really probably. Maybe we'll hire 1-2 additional testers, but I guess not. Not at the moment. Not with our actual plan. So at least, not now. Our actual Beta-1 testers are needed nevertheless.
