Who do you think would win a space battle if the Empire has the Death Star and the Eclipce, and the Rebels have 20 Mon Calamari and Home One?

Death Star one or two? if it was the first death star then i would have to say the rebels would win, as they would be able to pour laser fire into the Eclipse untill it was rendered in operable, and if the rebels had fighter units they could make the trench run and possibly destroy the first death star. if it was the second death star, i dont know, as the targetins system on the second battlestation allowed for the superlaser to target capital ships with a low power setting and destroy them

Rebels they just do what they did in the movie.... Only with a mon calamari instead of a A wing. Now if you meant in EAW I think it would be pretty close. But by canon(what I know of space battles of canon is all my knowledge taken from X-wing Alliance, well because it seemed the most reasonable star wars flying simulator from how powerful each ship was) the 21 mon calamari would own the Eclipce...

P.S. Dam my whole post is useless I thought it was executor and DS 2 against 21 one mon calamari. Now to be true Idk how powerful the Eclipce is but I guess that 21 mon would still win.

Empire hands down. Both ships were designed to take a massive pounding. The eclipse could ram Mon Cals and cause them to peel like a tin can without even losing a tiny bit of shields. Even the first Death Star could engage massive fleets due to the massive amounts of ordanance it carried.

I say the Empire would win becuase without fighters they cannot attack the Death Star's main reactor.

2 super lasers can rip up any ship and importantly the Deathstar and eclipse had a massive abount of turrets on, avoid those guns would like be like tryin to avoid very large, green coloured, glowing, hailstone raining down a mile a minute

rebels wouldn't even get a chance to retreat. Superlasers would rip them apart from long range, and if they were foolish enough to get close, the surface turrets would rip them apart. Keep in mind they were designed for large ships.

Empire all the way. Two superlasers and a battlestation the size of a planet and a super super star destroyer? Empire would totally own the rebels before they even got close.

Well, the Rebels are strategic, so they would first take out the Eclipse's super-laser, and they would boost their shield power every time the Eclipse would try to use the super-laser, or the Death-star use it's super-laser. Then, of course, the Rebels would take down the Eclipse the rest of the way. But then if none of the Mon Calamari ships had Rogue squadron or Luke in their hangars, then I would say that the rebels would be toast if they didn't hyperspace away.

the super laser can rip through shields anyway so Empire all the way

Anyway, I say that the Empire would win, because the only way to effectively attack the death star is with fighters, and seeing as they have none well then they are indeed another one of darth vaders toasted hot pockets (just an example of what will happen to them... except it is incredibly hotter)

In reviewing this...it'd be a stalemate, the Eclipse would die of course, but the Rebels would stay away from the DS. They haven't the firepower and the DS doesn't have the accuracy for either of them to destroy the other...
