Anywho, yes, something terrible happened.  Countless people died during and after the attacks due to related causes, and many more will.  For anyone that lost someone on 9/11, I'm sorry for your loss.  For anyone who "doesn't care", I'm sorry but that's horrible.

This was a moment of history most Americans will not simply "forget" nor want to.  Remembering this is out of respect of those who lost their lives that day, and to make better preventative measures in the future.  It made America stronger to stand together regardless of party, religion, race, and sex..a very strong bond that we needed.  The sister of a friend of mine worked at the twin towers, It just so happened that she missed the bus back to her job from her lunch break on 9/11...

I don't expect people in other countries to feel sorry for us one bit, but don't treat this event as if it something for us to forget.

I think it absolutely doesn't matter in which country the tragedy happend, which citizens were hurt or killed or injure and who has to get along and deal with big losses.
It's absolutely nonsense to think about how many americans, mexicans, chinese died, only thing that counts: There were people inside, human people. Every victim ain't american, european, asian - every victim is a loss. a loss for manhood. a loss for the people who cared about them.
We shouldn't say "oh no, thousands of fellow countryman died" or "glad, that no countrman of mine was killed", we should feel sorry for all the human beings died, for all the poor souls whos husbands, wifes, kids, friends were taken by anger and hate.
I hoped people would learn something....9/11 was horrible, but people haven't changed at all. They continue with hate, anger, furiousity and violence, not wanna see, that nothing comes from violence and nothing ever could.
we should really start to learn. accidents may happen obne or the other day. to everyone of us. we're fragile - we should start to think of it.
life's too short and too precious to hate....

Even though i was english... I feel sorry for all the people that died and all the people that lost their family in that suicide attack.
My great grandfather was in those buildings... he died... I miss him...
I watched a program... i heard his voice trying to get out calling someone...
