Good evening, This is Derek Mitchell(Q) bringing you the political section, Iris and Alia(both:Gate) bringing you the Storylines section, and Copper John(JL) bringing you the interview. Today, Chaos has continued it's war on, well, whoever it feels like by attacking the Republic/Imperial Union at Seraphim. The battle is still ragging and our correspondents say it is to early to pass judgment. The situation is similar at Ov'Res, a gas giant, which is a member world of the IU/Republic. In other news Republic related news, the world Feldrona was annexed. The GA has continued it's return to powers, as well as it's modernization, earlier this week, a VI outpost was destroyed, by the terrorist organization know as SERF, just days before it came online. Also related to the VI and it's sub-factions, in light of the the recent failure of the Nightmare, the USS and VI leader have joined together their resources for a project.
A small inter-faction war is going on between Zerg forces. The true Zerg are re-taking all Renegades. These include the Zergrinch followers, Sechezar's Swarm, the Detestable Vermin, and the Feral Guardians. Another Liberion area has been quelled by the Maverick Hunters, but at the expense of a key member, Spider. The Liberions have gone on the defensive, after losing 5 key members. Last night the Doomsday fleet received a distress call from Repliforce's pearl fleet, It rondevu with it and a short tough battle was fought with the Oleana and Meteos between the planets Meteos and Geolyte with the enemy flets and both planets destroyed all was recycled and turn into raw energy and stored by the doomsday

July 6: "Hello, and welcome to our ninth (')broadcast(') of ISN Nightside, from Geneva, Earth(B5). Recently, a coalition was assembled against a certain member of the Republic, Admiral of the Fleet Chris. The Coalition includes, the VI, the USS, the Ruinous Powers of Chaos, and briefly the Galactic Federation(under the IU). The first battle started by the mechanoids(AI), at Courscant resulting in multiple SW/UW usages. battles continue at Bothwuai and Sluis Van, no further information is available at this time. The VI released that it expected the war would last upwards of a week, though the VI admits this is an old estimate.
Unlike the heavy combat of yesterday, today was fairly quiet partly due to Chris being absent. However, several claiming disputes occurred, one between the White Mantle and the CIS, and another between the Galactic Federation and the Nightmare Armada, both were resolved with much arguing but no blood shed. Further more, the Republic annexed the Imperial Union, making the Republic the new largest faction, Noret was reported to be unamused but made the following statement "First to make war, last to make war." This has worried some of the smaller member states of the VI, including several former League members, they are worried that if the war continues for long, the Republic may counter attack in their space. Some are claiming an increase in Imperial Garrisons, the Minister of IA, has denied this. Despite the war, absolutely nothing of importance occurred in Sector 83 by 9 by 12, well this is Derek Mitchell signing off."
