why are the fourms silent.... OMG are they dying *starts CPR* .... one another can u give us any info on the progress 2 the mod so far plzz we all dyin 2 no .... whats been dne so far could we get any pics ? a preview vid .... jst 2 keep the publics intrest ty

that could be possible but i was talking about on this site. sure total war is fun, but when you are on the site those are some suggetions to make it not boring.

I think the reason some people aren't involved in forum wars is because they're afraid of leaving/don't have enough time. That happens to me twice already.
I LOVE roleplay, so obviously I loved Forum Wars. But I had to keep leaving because I was always busy with school, and once I got back everything had changed, and now I was afraid to re-join in because I might have to leave again soon. But honestly, yeah I'd love to play those again.

i didn't join forum wars because:

1) i'm not a huge role playing game fan (i'll sometimes play one, but not long enough be able to play FW)

2) i don't think that i could keep track of all my planets/forces/naval fleets, despite al the lists.

3) i don't have time to be playing forum wars all day. (sory for the obvious)

Forum War's golden & glorious days are far gone.

And no, the forums nor the mod are dead. Progress is made behind scenes, and yes, we haven't had an update for a bit, and the forums aren't quite what they were long ago, but that doesn't mean a thing. Progress continues, and no doubt any lack in forum activity can be attributed to the fact that people have normal lives to attend to.

Be patient. It'll be well worth the wait.

well, i know this: they are working on V1, which is the space major mod. i don't know how far they actually are though. next they are going to do some work on V2, which is a major land addon to be combined with V1. after that they might make a non-canon for fun V3, but we don't know. V2 is a long way off.

Why staff wont tell us when they are ready with V1? In RAW web site is clearly shown that they have done 90% of the mod. Why UEAW staff work is happening "behind closed doors"?

V1 is not very complete.

We have no Beta Testers

This period of time is the Exam period in the UK and probably the USA. Summer holidays are when the mod will really kick off.

its the exams in Canada as well, my son is in university.

and my daughter, wich just turned 18, will be having her high school exams in june. like all other schools in canada.

Yeah thats true. I have my Advanced History exam in about two weeks, then about a month or 3 weeks after that the rest of my classes exams are up. Can't wait to see what'll be released in summer then

Alright, I have to say something about this....

This is about the fourth thread about the same thing within a month....the progress of this mod. What I have to say is, STOP!!!

. Enough with the constant questioning already. The mod will come out when it is ready, no sooner or later. Stop complaining about the lack of activity on the forums or regular updates on the site.....no one is being paid to do this mod! Yes, I eagerly await its release, but at least show a little patience and respect for the people who have already devoted a great amount of time and effort to this project, for the benefit of the public.

So basically we all can agree on this: stop asking when V1 will be finished, there ARE people here to post/hang out, and just because no one is posting an update CONSTANTLY on the main page (which is NEVER updated...all the announcements are in the forums) doesn't mean the creators have stopped working on it.

I guess a quote from Ross I remember from awhile ago would work here :"It's not like were sitting here and pressing the F5 button looking for updates to threads." (If I didn't exactly quote it sorry, but you all should get the point

yer im in uk exams are soon and i am patient and i understand evry body busy cos i am 2 and i no u dnt get paid but v1 is so hyped up and the fact that u get 2 request wat to put into it it just gets u excited... so gd luck with exams.take ya time on da mod weve waited dis long we can wait sme more... gd luck have fun and "may the force be with you"
