but as long as I have the chance to say it, for such a cool guy they could had given him a better name. Bane is already a name that every self respecting star wars fan knows, and giving that fact a little more thought might have gone a long way.

yeah.  bane is used many times in star wars.  but if someone didn't know star wars that well, they ould get cad confused with darth bane.  that could mess up their perception of bane!
