I think that he should have his bike only when he is on CIS planet.

It should, though, have a long recharge rate. It would be too abused and overpowered otherwise.

Your spelling is impeccable, pORG!
I like the idea of a slow recharge rate, and a short range makes sense, considering the fact that it is anything but an AT-AT!

one shot kill. from what i remember his blaster was ridiculously overpowered

srsly?
it dosn't look too different to the E-5, the E-5 has an extra high pressure gas chamber for powerful blasts, and grievous's blaster just looked like a stripped down and short-scoped version of it. i just can't imagine grievous's blaster is ridiculously powerful.

BTW i can't find grievous's blaster on wookieepedia. does it have a proper name or somthing?

Ha, found it.

anything interesting in there?

Ya oh and even an an AT-AT's guns couldn't even do a 1 shot kill on anything lolololoolol more like boba fett's rifle or rebel infiltrator rifles. so oh if grievous IS going to have a 1 shot kill thingy bettar not make any CIS units do that like the rebel infiltrator because which one would you rather pick, they're both 1 shot kills, one has to charge a heck of a long time and the other won't cost a thing?

maybe - and do not throw anything on me - his blaster could work like Tyber Zanns?

If I remember correctly, Grievous' DT-57 was considered one of a class of "super-heavy" blaster pistols; they dished out damage equal to a blaster rifle, with a pistol's range.  That short range is an excellent limit.
Regarding the wheelbike, I only saw him mow down infantry with it (even literally).  Perhaps the bike can run over infantry as a heavy vehicle (and can only be obtained when a heavy vehicle factory researched/built).  And, the wheelbike's blaster could be equal to an anti-infantry turret; that way you can't ALWAYS have him running solo missions, due to high risk of brutal death by walkers or tanks.

P.S.:  Thank you, Argonnath, for the tip.

no, no blaster shhotgun that can kill a whole squad with one shot, that would be pointless.

Oh, right!  Good point...  Hmmm...  How about giving the bike's blaster power equivalent to, say, a T-2B?  Or is this a clear sign that I hadn't been playing the Rebels enough, lately?...

how about we set his blaster's power to a dark trooper MKII's power level, and set his bike cannon's power at an ATST's power, but a lower rate of fire?

grrr no one bothers to read my posts?!

I think an anti-infantry turret is too powerful. maybe downgrade it a bit...

What unit do you feel could provide an appropriate template for the wheelbike's firepower?
I had stated T-2B with some doubt...

i'm thinking tie mauler....which would not only be a good power template, but it is very appropriate because it also is fast and runs over people

How about cross the speederbike's firepower, with the TIE Mauler's overrun ability?  Watch Episode III; I don't recall the cannons ever being used (sigh... will have to suffer through wooden dialogue to get to good stuff, to be sure), so, an inferior damage factor suits the former, furthermore, you can clearly see at least one clone get punted by the wheelbike, granting plausability to the latter, but it should still get owned by walkers.  Regarding Grievous' sidearm, the damage of a rifle with the range of a pistol is good for canon, perhaps for balance as well.

AND..... what about the climbing claws?
my post.

as for an ability for the bike, i might probably choose this one. on the page in wookieepedia it said it had climbing claws, and the 2 guns feeds power off it, if Grievous activates the claws, he won't be able to fire the cannons. and i wonder if it's possible to make him go into crawl arms mode for a few seconds, so he can climb up some slopes and canyons IN his bike? ideal for a surprise attack

the climbing claws are more canon, cos it was actually IN ACTION in the films, comparing to that the bike acutally had blasters, but he never used them in the films?

there is no applicable use for the climbing claws in the game, so stop worrying about them. if there even was and i'm forgetting something, it should be a passive, not a special ability, although this would entail re-writing the pathfinding code

AI code of any type, in my experience, is extremely annoying to work with.  Then again, the only AI code i've worked with is morrowind's, and RPG AI is devilish.

Perhaps the climbing claws can be adapted to act as a brace for an ability.  When deployed, the wheelbike is rendered stationary (like the Phase III Dark Trooper), granting the bracing necessary for it to act as an anti-infantry turret- with a very limited firing arc (45 degrees, at most).  That way, it can have superior firepower, without gaining an absolute tactical edge.
