i know that but i think we are all misunderstanding it, take AotR for example they have real rotative turrets on capital ships and space stations...

I see...

Yes it is possible to make graphics for turrets and have a rotating and elevating turret for each hardpoint; but not build-pad like things.

what about the space turrets you capture? could those also be moddified slightly to have a range of turrets.

they already are? choices are between laser defense satelites, missiles and repair station (for Empire anyways)

Not build-pad like, you can't choose what to build on a station...

on a station no but on space pads yes... whats going on here are we sure we fully understand each other? someone recap all of this for request please?
