i was thinking sence the two (dead space and Aliens series) seem so alike, who would win a fight between the two aliens

i think Necromorphs are liveing hosts and dont Necromorphs need dead hosts? to breed, there alot alike...

No.

Re-animate involves controlling the body by attaching yourself to its nervous system. A dead body can be re-animated, it is how it was discovered that nerves contain electricity. The aliens presumably need warmth and possibly nutrients etc to gestate, something which a dead body can't give you.

Plus necromorphs can turn dead aliens into new necromorphs so the necros would have a number advantage

No, they don't need the blood to reanimate it. You could bleed a corpse dry; the Nercromorph can still take it over.

You misunderstood my post. Any attempt to drain the blood would discentigrate the people draining it.

but ok lets say the Xeno's had all the hosts they needed for an army. then who'd win?
imagine if the two were on earth killing eachother and using humans as hosts. then who'd win in a straight 1V1(V1)

Probably Necros again, unless the Xenos took out the Hive Mind. As long as Xenos die, Necros can grow their army.

Necros re-animate dead bodies, making them living things. And due to the wide variety of Xenomorph's(And their abilities), I would have to say a full Hive of Necro's verse a full Hive of Xeno's, Xenomorph's wins.

the stage is set O.o
A Necromorph stands in an empty room... alone... or so it thinks...
an Xenomorph is camoflauged waiting to attack and when the Necromorph turns its back to the alien he quickly stabs him with his tail
The Necromorph swings about wildly the tail went right through the stomach not a faital blow, the Necromorph frees himself by cutting off the aleins tail but the acid gets splashed on the Necromorph's body and arm, the arm falls off but the Necromorph dosent die quickly, the Xenomorph then jumps on the Necromorph and tries to kill it with its.... um... little mouth (lol) but the Necromorphs blade gose through the Xenomorph's side asid spills on the necromorph's head and arm, its ame comes off and its head is horribly disfigured (as if it wasnt already difigured before

) the badly ingured alien limps away from the Necromorph's dead body...

One inaccuracy there...if you knock the head off of a Necromorph (which form you are using I have no clue, since there's Slashers, Lurkers, Brutes, Sentries, etc. etc.), they don't die. They come at you even harder, believe it or not.

We don't exactly know if the Necro's themselves are dead, or if it's just the bodies.

It is still possible for a Xenomorph to infect one. The Xecromorph cannot infect a Xenomorph without discentigrating itself. That, and Xeno's don't have flesh. They have an exoskeleton.

Dont forget Xenomorphs have acid blood so if a Necromorph tried to stab or splice em their blades would be eaten away by the acid. Xenomorphs are smart creatures that have hunting skills and could take on more then one opponent and Necromorphs are zombies on a mission to infect. Xenomorphs also have alot more agility and can run fast especially since they can run on all fours whenever they want.
