Mini-missions

Would it be possible to increase the number of secondary objectives Mon Mothma/ :vader2/ :sidious/Who ever is in charge in the new/old eras give you to do for bonuses. I am not asking for the Holocron image to appear (I can recognise some difficult things!), just the objectives. Is that possible  :up or just a waste of time?  :down

Clone War era, your faction is the CIS currently, build a fleet consisting of General Grievous and Count Dooku and attack Coruscant.
KOTOR era, *some republic captain guy or something* we've just intercepted a transmission coming from Byss telling a fleet to attack... say... Dantooine, build a fleet and defend before the enemy arrives.

Do you mean like how the consortium has those little corruption missions?  Those are the best part of the game :)

Empire = Rescue Imperial Intelligence agent from a planet. I.e. Find 'em and get 'em to an LZ then high-tail it outta there  :D
Similar = acquire 'resources' for SSD, Eclipse, Dark Trooper project
            = Track Death Star plans anyone?  :vader2.
            = Plagiarised from original campaign ... One of your planets defects and you have to retake it with in a few minutes or the revolt will spread  :rebel, or hunt down defected Admiral/general now in Rebel ranks.

Rebel = Rescue Imperial Admiral/General who wishes to defect (a theme emerges  :sure)
          = Search for a survivor of the great Jedi Purge
          = Sabotage construction of an SSD (if there are more in the Mod? Please say yes!  :D)

CIS = Kill a senator

CIS = Kill Senator
       = Kill a Jedi Master
       = Encourage a planet to Secede...   ??? No idea how this would work but it sounds in character!

Republic = Stop planet from Seceding...  :sure Oh come on! Its late and I'm not thinking properly!
              = Take down CIS propaganda centre
              = Hit major droid manufacture facility...  :boba  "How would this be different?" I hear you cry! Erm... Small force, new type of droid? Super Battle Droid Mk3? I think its on Wookipedia as a giant multi-story droid. This is probably a bad idea.

Old Republic = Find and protect force sensitive baby amongst indigenous population (this one I like)
                    = .... Don't know much about the old Republic

Sith = Perform nasty ritual  :sidious
        = Steal something
        = Kill someone (now I'm getting lazy but as I said its late here...)

Oh wait...

New Rep = Find ancient cache of lost Jedi knowledge

Fel's Empire = Sabotage vong-forming regeneration programme!

Ideas that came to me in my sleep!

CIS = Take out Cloning Vats  :boba
       = Capture Palpatine!  :sidious
       = Stop Republic discovering hidden base... would probably have to be on a stealth ground base planet...
       
Old Republic = Evacuate Younglings from a threatened Praxeum et al
                    = Rescue a stranded Jedi  :yoda2
                    = Find crystals for lightsabers  :obi:

Rebel = Get Death Star Plans  (fatalencounter) Heh heh...

Any = Escort vital convoy,  :rebel
       = Investigate missing convoy, outpost
       = Sabotage shipyard/factory
       = Take down power generators/base/planet shields/turbolasers                   

Empire = Storm a facility before Scientists can get info to Rebellion or destroy research
            = Find and eliminate survivor of Jedi Purge

Alright so I reused some ideas! Will try the screenshots as ordered  (trooper)  :ueaw

Will post anymore crazy ideas that I have while (not) working on my dissertation  :wall  (mutters to self) Work, during the holidays, whinge complain, disgraceful, gripe, moan.

the Super Battledroid MkIII is (1) called an Ultra Battle droid and has 1 Flamethrower, 1 widespread Plasmathrower, and 2 blaster cannons (2) the Ultra Battle droid is about the size of General Greivous  not several Stories tall

Yeah I've got many, many ideas for these and technically they are possible, except the fact that corruption can only be used by one faction, I've found a way to work around it and still trigger the corruption missions.

Just a few more random ideas.

Rep = Deal with mutated/rebellious Clone Troopers
       = ORDER 66!! Although might this be in the GRAND CAMPAIGN?
       = Protect Kamino from CIS... can anyone remember what happened historically, if anything?
       = Investigate why Jedi Master appropriate-sounding-name or Clone Commander X has not reported in....

CIS = Dooku looking for a dark side apprentice (yes I know about Miss unspellable)
       = Sidious wants you to deal with a meddlesome Dark Side group.... this could be Imperial as well come to think of it

New Rep/Rebels = Steal a Star Dreadnought?

Find one with vital knowledge that you don't want others to know about...  Did I mention how much I like the fact that the game is very like the films?
Acquire some for your fighters...
Acquire medi-droids.
Capture materiel to allow you to repair yours.
Capture battle droid(s) for analyse and testing.

Thats probably it for a while.

OK, there's one little problem with these mini-missions. Unless we get an LUA coder, they're not possible. To code a mission, you need to reference a load of markers, while having it conceptually in your head. Then themapper (e.g. me) has to map it wiht exactly what the code describes, with all the markers in the right places. Of course, it can be done vice versa, which is probably easier, but missions only work properly if the LUA is specific to the map (as far as my experience goes with corruption missions and there ****** compiled LUA)
