Another idea: Its always really bugged me to know that although many star-fighters in the star wars universe are capable of atmospheric flight, the only involvement in the game (during land battles) that they have are during bombing runs (they drop da bombs). I was wondering if they could be made to have an increased role, i.e., become land and space capable units. Can this be done?

p.s.: sorry if this has already been posted
Rejected: No fighters or bombers, or any space units at all besides transports will be available on land. This game is not GG, the fact that there are no air standard air units aside from speeders is an essential game mechanic, and adding fighters to land would be unbalanced and boring.

Yes, it does. I've been here for I think a little over a year-and-a-half, and I've seen a lot of ideas get rejected then a few months later another guy posts the same idea up.
