AT-AT blasters

The AT-ATs blasters could range from a heavy blast or some light blasts, depending on what the commander wanted and I was thinking maybe it could be like the T4-Bs special ability where it would change from a heavy blast to light blasts.
The AT-ATs blaster canon specs are right here:
The MS-1 fire-linked heavy laser cannon was a powerful laser cannon variant employed by All Terrain Armored Transports. The weapon was mounted in a dual-barrel configuration on the AT-ATs, and could fire in a "one-two punch" pattern or simultaneously; with both of those settings seen in action at the Battle of Hoth. The MS-1 fire-linked heavy laser cannon's firepower could also be altered from the command section by the pilots, ranging from light bolts to a devastating beam that could destroy most ground-based targets.

makes sense, you're right about the multiple weapon types; just look at the head, its got more than just chin cannon.

Exacly, the AT-AT has multiple weapons, not just one.

I think at the very least the AT-AT should get a light anti-personnel blaster to eliminate the missile squads that are the bane of AT-ATs.

the switch weapons ability makes sense i guess, but we have to be careful not to make them uber.

I agree. still it's kind of hard not to. After all they were kind of like the strongest land unit in Star Wars so they start out uber it's just how much more so we make them.

Yessss! This is a historical moment. But for the AT-ATs like super blast for its main cannon has to be strong, but not super strong, something inbetween.

I actually wanted this in for awhile, just kept forgetting, and thinking that someone already posted it. But the super blast should maybe have a little area of effect damge since they were pretty inaccurate.

Stop worrying about the specifics; this is the community requests, not community ideas on *how* we should code it :P

V2 is intended to include an overhaul in existing units and game style as well as new content anyway, so I believe this is on the list regardless.

AT-ATs are underpowered and mis-respresented in the weaponry area we know.
