why do rebel troopers beat stormtroopers in this game? stormtroopers have better armor, training, and weapons, whail the rebellion dosent have the recources to make to experenced troops like the Empire so shouldent they be weaker than stormtroopers?
Approved, in way that won't screw up balance:
-stormies have more health than reb troopers
-stormies fire more accurately than rebels
-stormies fire slightly faster than rebels
-stormtroopers also lose their take cover ability, so the rebels can compete when hunkered down.

on the contrary due to the rebellion having few people soldiers were EXTREMELY well trained to maximize effectiveness with a small army.

not really; they were poorly trained. The difference is in experience. Every troop the rebels had ended up with hundreds of hours of combat experience under their belt, whereas most stormies did not survive their first battle.

Still, I do agree with peace trooper, I think their infantry is waaaaay to overpowered for infantry. I mean they can survive like a million hits from anything!

yeah, damages are going to be adjusted for land; i think all units are going to be made to take less hits before dying, forcing you to take better advantage of cover.

Thank you! That is a much needed relief. The rebels have way to much of a advantage over the Empire with their infantry.

Which are quite ineffective against rebel infantry because of their damage reduction upgrade.

those were poorly armed security marines; The tantive IV's guard detail; they were outnumbered, and the troops that engaged them were of the 501st Legion, the Empire's most elite troops, of legendary fighting skill, so they actually fared quite well.

wait 501st was clones where are you? there arent clones in the Empire they take any order without question there to dangerous what if the emperor told them to kill vader? vader isnt that stupid

it was on topic; it shows that the opening scene of Ep. IV is not applicable to this debate, because the rebels were facing elite troops. I think perhaps stormies could be strengthened slightly, but have their take cover ability removed; its not the Empire's style.

there not going to just run into open fire they arent as stupid as clones are
