I am a no go on this request, because i believe that the CIS would not resort to covert commandos. They was know for handing a massive droid army and steam roll over enemies. Because of this fact i think that the battle droids should be very cheat to buy since the b1 version was cheat and the b2 should be the more expensive version.

yes they would there is more than enough cannon sources to back me up that they did use covert operations

I've still gotta vote yes because there is not as much solid evidence against them as there is for them. Just because you saw or read about the massive armies rolling over people, or however you put it, that doesn't mean that there were no covert ops. When sieging Troy, Agamemnon had more of everything and he was still pushed back. (Troy- Republic, Greece- CIS) The only way that the Greeks got into the city was form a small team to sneak in and open the gates. Now think of this concept in Star Wars. How do you take an impenetrable fortress if the doors are locked? You unlock them. That's where commandos come in. If your huge battle droid army can't get in they'll be cut down in no time. but if a small group can get in and open the doors, the army can get in. (I think I jut repeated myself several times) anyway, do you get the point? Every army no matter how big must have some kind of spec ops to move and function.

I agree. There is always a place to use tactics. Think of Geonosis on episode 2. The holographic display wasn't just a movie display. It was a picture of the unfolding battle so they could coordinate and form strategies to win. Just because they lost doesn't mean that they didn't use any strategy. I agree with the droid commando. If nothing else, it gives to the balance of the game.

That was used so they could PLACE THE MASSIVE NUMBERS OF DROIDS at places where the REPUBLIC WOULD BE OVERWHELMED and buy some time to flee the planet.
