It was Oct. 13th, 1812, that American forces attack Queenston, Ontario. around 400 men on both sides were killed or wounded, (British/Canadian and American). Isaac Brock, lead a charge to push the American forces back, on the first charge, Brock was shot in the hand. On the Second, He was killed by a Sharpshooter. His last words were "Loyal Troops of the Empire, Press in". About 1000 Americans were captured in the battle. And, here in Canada, The anniversary of the battle is on our Thanksgiving day! The main reason the Brits won was because they outnumbered the Americans about 2-5.
