Greetings, Earthlings,

I have returned.

Ok, short story: I decided that my 2 bachelor degrees are boring and ended up in making a MBA very quick, now just waiting for the OK on my hard written master thesis paper, meanwhile trying to catch up on UEAW again.

I AM very sorry that I did not come back earlier, but since I put all my efforts into the MBA, you might underestand that doing it in less then half a year is kinda... timeconsuming.
Really gives you a tunnel-sight.

And... there has been another game...  *shame*
(As some of you know I host quite a large pile of RTCW:ET servers and they needed attentions, since my other admin decided to go for a 4 year tour in the german army.

Ok, ok, enough lame excuses, I am back and allready got more stuff loaded on me by jones than my reopend timetable has hours.
So, like we all love it, back to the 25hours days, all in for UEAW. 

Of course I have been in contact with jones and mike.nl, but I have to catch up a lot as far as I can tell and thats what I am gonna do the next 2 days, reading everything here in the board and also getting (finally!) done with FOC, which I did not touch during my writing time, too.

It seems like I forgot some things about UEAW and Star Wars, though.

Im sure the team understands your commitment for your MBA.  And RTCW heh, im an old vet of that game and the ET version, used to be the admin of many servers as well.  So believe me I know what you mean.  But its good to see you back.  *brings out the trusty whip*  WORK!!!

You can't forget that the two of us use totally different styles of mapping though. Mine takes longer, and in the end leads to better visual quality, at the cost of sometimes slightly lower gameplay quality, yours are quicker to make, but lack slightly in the height map area, but have good gameplay quality, for the most part.

I haven't seen any of the new ones you've made though, just the maps you converted for FoC.

Yes, we cherish this thread, and would not want to move it. Welcome back Fynbos! Good to see you are another very busy person, yet dedicated to UEAW when you get a spare moment. I can relate to that. Lately it seems my life has become very busy, and I only get a few moments here and there for the mod. But hey, that seems to be the norm, so I am accepting it like fate and destiny...good to have you back my freind.

believe it or not not EVERYONE has the "talent" to make the little hills and what may be in your maps as perfect as you want, maybe if you'd let me see one I could try to make my maps "better" by putting in hills or whatever like you, so whenever we're both online (messenger) why don't you send me one to look at?
