"Wookiee Hunter AT-ST"

Just got it in a StarWars Mini booster Pack...lol This would be an awesome addition to the Empire....Imagine the Barrage area with this beauty,and if THE FORCE UNLEASHED counts as canon this is a definite want for any Empire fan.Perhaps buildable on Kashyyyk only

No,it has two chainguns for killing infantry and is named Wookiee Hunter because it can take down Wookiees in seconds.But has very weak armour so it's alot better than an AT-ST but probably lacks even less shielding

There doesn't seem too much point to it unless you're hoping to take Kashyyyk in a firestrom of chaingun fire. It's actually weaker than the current AT-ST, so adding it as a variant because it can take Wookiees down fast isn't too worth it, in the end.

exactly. And we have Maulers for anti-infantry duty.

i like it and thnik it's good. it would definatly be better then the Tie-mauler with those chainguns while still keeping the morter and laser cannon

Maulers are light anti-infantry. This could be used as heavy anti-infantry. Can take out infantry fast but can't be taken down easily itself.

yea, i really don't see a point in this new varient. Compared to all the other species, there is only one planet that the Wookiees live on, and there arn't that many living there anyways....

all the wookiees there are convicts...You don't need a modified At-St to kill one, you just need malnourishment, neglect, and abusive behavior.

Variety in units is good, and this clearly has a new function; a more expensive and specialised AT-ST (let's face it, the original really, really sucks in EAW, needs re-doing anyway) which can carve through infantry much easier, but has lighter armour (lightER, not light; it wouldn't be as light as a mauler, just more vulnerable to vehicles).

Variants are found already in UEAW; see the dreadnaughts and the nebulon Bs... Perhaps for V2
