Hardpont/projectile code Tutorial
« on: June 20, 2008, 04:15 am »

Sorry that I haven't had a chance to post this when I said I would, but here it is!
Attached is the first release of a basic XML tutorial that Solar and I wrote, the hardpoints tutorial. Unfortunately, the tutorial is not being released in order, and so it often suggests you refer to a not-yet-complete projectiles tutorial. We are happy to answer any questions the tutorial raises, and the rest of the tutorial should be released soon.
KNOWN PROBLEMS:
-tutorial does not direct the user to add SPAWN_SQUADRON to the space behavior, thus the hardpoint tutorial's added hangar will not work correctly.

You start off the guide with, "To start with, copy the hardpoints from the original ISD and then rename them to this syntax:"

That's a large leap for me - where and what is the ISD?  Copy it to where and call it what?

I'm unable to find the hardpoints data to begin with.
