I was just thinking about the 2-M. I never buy it, because it stinks. It is described as a medium tank but is not very powerful at all, and its armor is weak. PLEX missiles bypass the shields altogether. Should the armor be increased?

totally agree. its no match for a T2-b unless it uses increased firepower, and then that depletes the shields. simple fix, really.

Plus, its supposed "heavy" cannons stinks. I've had a T2-B beat one on easy. T4-B's ALONE can take down 3 at once, with or without using their missiles.

again, im perfectly fine with them the way they are. i use them as my first line of defence vs t4-b's and they can take them down brilliant. you just use the ability once the shields are down to prevent any loss from the ability. and you dont just leave them sitting still

2m's are the empires answer to the need for a fast, powerful vehicle. it sacrifices armour for the speed and ability to hover.

perhaps they could be increased only for the AI's? they dnt use them strategically at all. not sure how we would go about doing this though...

^No strategy whatsoever. Since they're equipped with energy shields and anti-infantry guns, they should be deployed to attack infantry. In large numbers to attack vehicles.

The anti-infantry guns do stink a bit too. They only fire occasionally as well... Perhaps beef up the weapons a bit more to reflect the tank class but leave its armour not so good.

I will admit, the 2-M is very weak compared most everything else in the Rebel and Imperial army but I believe that is the point.  What the 2-M lacks in armor and firepower it gains in speed and maneuverability.  Sound familiar anyone? ;p

The M-2 frankly Sucks as if u check it's strengths and weaknesses it says its strong against T-2b and T-2b's say they're weak against it but the
T-2b will anniallate a squadren of them! either increse the firepower and firing rate or the armout, if not Both!

Yes seeing as it was meant to be fast and deadly it should have decent weaponry, but retain the lower armour. Such is the way of design and warfare

Yeah, maybe that would be better. If Im going to lose them I at least want to make a dent in the rebels first.

yes and when i had a T-2B fighting an M-2 what ever damage my M-2 did, their shield just regenerated before i could fire again

i have no idea why people are having these problems. for me one squad of 2m's an easily take down a squad of T-2-B's....unless your just parking them there and using boost weapon power straight away, having them all shooting at different T2-B's.

eventally, but only using tactics, I drew it intowards my base where a turbo tower Flattened it but the M-2 would have lost otherwise as it auto activated its Boost firepower so it's shields dramaticly dropped, I turned it off in time...,Just
