i know very little, but i know someone who is completely obssessed with them. EVERYTHING he wears has the decepticon logo on (and i really do mean everything) and he has a tatoo of the decepticon logo. he knows EVERYTHING about them.

i can usually get an impression of the plot's quality form the trailers.
the problem is that most people are idiotic, and they like the action scens screw the plot... so they make more money that way. take spier-man 3. broke the record for all-time most money-making movie. Critics, who actually know how to rate the plots hated it, but people still came in droves.

Yeah, all because of the death trap called "CGI," which really stands for "Crappy Grossing Incentive."

That's also why ATU got raved, but no one saw it: not enough cheap action, although there was heavy CGI, but it was used to enhance, not draw away from the plot.

Either that, or the Beatles fanatics (like I am) now have a good, well-thought-out Beatle film to see aside from the officials.
