I had a friend who was playing that under those conditions. He heard a loud thump in the kitchen that caused him to jump out of his skin. When he slowly walked into hte kitchen, he found a cerial box that had fallen to the floor.

i saw a vid on youtube about a guy playing Doom 3 in the dark... alone his buddy went off and left him alone and every time he saw a monster jump out, he'd freak out

halo 1 on 343 guilty spark, i played it when it first came out (cant rememebr how old) on HUGE tv, 9 at night and surround sound. plus was alone

lollollollol Dude's stop fighting over this! no game is truly terrifying because before the end you know that there not invincible, and there for if you keep a cool head you know that ill logic can only be defeated by ill logic and that if the human brain gets too close to a rip in logic then the mind can then alter logic too, so there is by logic no reason to have FEAR but what can be truly terrifying is a book or movie but its highly unlikely that there ever will be one, and now look i live in a huge, creepy, and old house thats maybe 28-32 years old and supposedly there where 20 unaccounted for deaths in side the house, we moved in when i was 6 well when i was about 66% of my way though that year i saw my first "ghost"!!!! ya it was a moon light Illusion, funny how that worked out hun? well i have played tuns of games in the dark at night alone past like 1 AM and as long as you dont stop thinking you shouldn't be scared, make sense?

yeah, the fear video games cause is wat makes them so fun wen i played 343 guilty spark, there was a point where i was low on ammo, and was stuck in the little "room" between the first room (where u start tryin' to leave and there are flood below u) and the room after that i was so low on ammo for my A.R. and out of ammo for my magnum.

i think i was out of grenades and im too much of a wus to get that close to flood, renegadenightmare gave me a little hint for that level though, if u ignore all the covenent in the beginning, the flood will be so focused on them u should be able to slip on by for the most part
