its pretty much an RTS game focusing on the UNSC ship Spirit of Fire and takes place awhile before Halo 1. I'm definitely going to get it, because I'm a huge fan of RTS games.

Because RTS are starting to migrate to consoles, AND because I play alot of games on the computer as well. Thats why I'm looking forward to Halo Wars and if I could I would try to see if theres any other console RTS out there as well. I wish Civilization would come over. Those games look amazing.

Halo Wars isn't out: it has a planned 2008 release. I'm pretty sure its a early-mid 2008 release. But I seriously can't wait to see more on it. This game looks to be good already.

Humans vs. Covenant. Halo Wars take place I think about a decade before Halo 1, so the war has practically just begun, so I wouldn't expect to see the Arbiter or MC, and obviously, its before the Covenant Civil War.

Yes, there will be SPARTANS, but there not going to be Master Chief Mk VI Spartans. Also, I read that the Spartans appearances on the battlefield will be an EVENT, so i guess you can't build them :'(

I remember they mand Command and Conquer for the N64, but I didn't like it. I didn't have as good control as on a PC.

my idiot friend said that it's a 1st person shooter like the other halo games and takes place throughout all three halo games (i have no idea how he got that idea)
